Pathways to Leadership Program

Pathways to Leadership is a year-long leadership development opportunity for undergraduate students at Muir College. Through this program, participants collaborate in small groups to design and implement a service-learning project that makes a positive impact either within Muir College or in the broader San Diego community.

Students in Pathways to Leadership gain practical experience in:

• Project planning and teamwork: working collectively to bring ideas into action.

• Community engagement: addressing real needs on campus or in the community.

• Leadership growth: developing new skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

By the end of the program, students will have not only contributed to meaningful change but also strengthened their own confidence and leadership capacity in ways that prepare them for future academic, professional, and civic opportunities.
